Fidelity Investments has been in North Texas since 1983 with the company's first major expansion outside of Boston. The Texas Region now includes more than 25 Fidelity companies and has grown from 50 employees in 1983 to more than 4,000 North Texas employees today. In addition to the Westlake campus, the Texas Region includes a facility in Grapevine and five Investor Centers located in Dallas, Fort Worth, Irving, Plano and Southlake.

Fidelity supports the North Texas community in many ways and is a corporate member of the Amon Carter Museum, Dallas Museum of Art, Dallas Museum of Nature and Science, Dallas Symphony Orchestra, Fort Worth Museum of Science and History and the Trinity River Audubon Center.
Community relations programming and outreach is conducted through a company-wide program called Fidelity Cares. Through this program, Fidelity employees participate in more than 100 annual volunteer efforts nationwide and provide other philanthropic support to hundreds of non-profit organizations.
Fidelity Texas supports many area initiatives including Carter BloodCare, Community Partners of Dallas Coat Drive, Dallas Mayor's Back to School Fair, North Texas Food Bank, Tarrant Area Food Bank, Tarrant County Back to School Roundup, Volunteer Center of North Texas and the Westlake Academy Foundation. Through its Fidelity in Schools program, Fidelity supports initiatives with Marsh Middle School in DISD and the Fort Worth ISD. Fidelity employees give more than 2,000 volunteer hours annually to Fidelity sponsored initiatives.
