Does Fidelity pay interns and co-ops?

Yes, Fidelity's internships and co-ops are paid positions.

What's the difference between an internship and a co-op?

Internships are temporary positions which may be part-time or full-time. A co-op is a full-time position for a defined period of time (usually four or six months). Students typically earn course credit for co-ops.

How can a Fidelity internship benefit me?

As an intern, you'll experience real-world challenges that go beyond what you can learn in the classroom. Internships can give you valuable knowledge that you can apply in the future, such as learning about an industry, building a network, or working in a team environment. And an internship can help you get an edge in the job market.

What kind of work can you expect to be involved in?

Interns are given actual projects that give them a realistic sense of the work involved in a particular area or position. Interns work with full-time employees, often in a team setting.

Does Fidelity offer internships or co-ops at all their locations?

We offer internship and/or co-op opportunities in nearly every region; however, opportunities are based on business needs and change according to location and timeframe.

When are internships available?

The majority of internships occur in the summer, beginning in May or June. Many students send resumes as early as February. There are also some opportunities in the fall and spring.
