Undergraduates: Jobs in Investment, Support, and Trading

Fidelity has grown to become America's largest privately held mutual fund company largely because of the investment experience and expertise our investment, support, and brokerage professionals. If you majored in finance, consider the following:

  • Research Analyst. Identify and evaluate new asset classes. Develop and write parts of investment memos or business plans. Perform analysis and primary and secondary research on industry, trends, customers, technology, etc. Conduct financial and risk assessment analysis and due diligence. Provide analytical support to portfolio company management and track key developments in one or two industries or sectors.
  • Business Analyst. Analyze, define, and document business and functional requirements for projects. Complete current state analysis; support requirements throughout the project life cycle. Participate in the design or selection of systems.
  • Investment Data Analyst. Work in the data resource management area to help ensure the integrity of Fidelity's Global Reference Database. You'll provide research, analysis, input, and maintenance of critical and complex investment information in support of the investment cycle.
  • Associate Portfolio Analyst. Assist senior analysts with presentations. Perform competitive analysis and product line analysis. Help write white papers and work to provide market and economic overviews and information to the marketing channels.
