Brimming with more than 400 miles of coastline and stunning sandy beaches, there’s no shortage of outdoor recreation in the Ocean State. But that’s only the beginning. Want a taste of the high life? Take a one hour drive to world-famous Newport, where you can tour famed Gilded Age mansions, sample wine at scenic vineyards or stroll cobblestone streets lined with quaint shops, exquisite restaurants and plenty of nightlife.

Where community matters

With a long tradition of community service in the neighborhoods where we work and live, Fidelity is committed to making a difference in the Smithfield area. The Fidelity Cares® program brings this to life with a primary focus on employee volunteer opportunities that help provide students and families with an educational foundation to attain personal and financial success.

Employees at our Smithfield office have participated in a variety of community service groups and activities aimed at fostering education, including the Boys & Girls Clubs of Providence, Generation Citizen, Teach for America, and Serve Rhode Island. As part of an interactive STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) program, more than 40 Fidelity Cares volunteers helped out over two dozen members of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Providence to learn about, build and race three solar-powered cars around our Smithfield campus.
