The Work We Do

As an investment sales associate (ISA) at FIAM, you will be part of the competitive and challenging world of investments at the largest mutual fund company in the United States. Providing investment management services to our clients, financial intermediaries, you will help them supply products to their underlying clients, helping them achieve their financial goals.

While some investors choose to purchase funds directly from Fidelity, others will opt to seek financial guidance from investment advisors. These clients, in turn, will have the opportunity to invest in products unique to FIAM's business within Fidelity. The Advisor Funds are a family of Fidelity mutual funds distributed exclusively through investment professionals.

Designed to help FIAM's institutional clients support their cash management needs, these funds are diversified portfolios made up of high-quality, short-term money market securities. These funds are used by a variety of clients for everything from directing corporate operating cash to assets used for managing mergers and acquisitions.

FIAM's suite of retirement programs is geared toward shareholder success in any market. FIAM offers an array of financial products to help our clients reach their retirement goals—the Fidelity Advisor (FA) 401(k), FA 403(b), FA IRAs, FA SEP, and FA SIMPLE IRAs, to name a few. These products are sold solely through financial intermediaries.

Fidelity mutual funds are recognized industry-wide and are sold by many investment professionals as part of their suite of product offerings to their underlying end clients. No matter the market or shareholder investment goals, with Fidelity's catalogue of mutual funds, FIAM is sure to have a fund option to help clients meet their objectives.

Fidelity VIP Portfolios and Sub Advised Portfolios are specially priced investment options only available through certain variable life and variable annuity products. These products are sold to our insurance clients, who, in turn offer these products to the underlying shareholders through products like individual annuities, life insurance and group life insurance contracts.

The Fidelity Advisor 529 Plan and the ScholarShare Advisor College Savings Plan are offered exclusively through financial advisors as a way to help clients save toward rising college costs. Money saved within these plans can be used for tuition, fees, room and board, books, supplies and other qualified expenses at accredited higher learning institutions.
