Job Description:
The Marketing Specialist for Fidelity Labs will be a member of the Fidelity Labs Central Business Operations team and support social media and event initiatives for Fidelity Labs and its portfolio companies.
In this role, you’ll help manage social media channels, content calendars, event planning, sponsorships, and community-building moments that increase awareness and engagement across Fidelity Labs, portfolio companies, Fidelity partners, and external audiences.
You’ll work closely with Labs marketing, portfolio company teams, communications, compliance, brand, events, New Ventures, and other Fidelity partners to bring stories, launches, partnerships, and events to life.
The right candidate is organized, creative, and comfortable managing multiple priorities. This role is a good fit for someone who enjoys both planning and execution and understands how social media and events can help build connection and community.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- 2+ years of experience in social media, events, marketing, communications, or a related field.
- Experience crafting social media content and managing content calendars across multiple priorities, teams, or brands.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, especially LinkedIn, and how to build content for business or professional audiences.
- Experience supporting events, including internal events, external events, conferences, sponsorships, partner events, or team events.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage timelines, approvals, partners, vendors, budgets, and deliverables.
- Comfortable working independently as well as with cross-functional partners, including marketing, communications, legal, compliance, brand, events, and business teams.
- Curiosity about startups, Fintech, innovation, entrepreneurship, or financial services a plus.

Community
- Manage social media for Fidelity Labs and supported portfolio companies, including content calendars, drafting, publishing, approvals, and reporting.
- Create content tied to company news, launches, events, recruiting, thought leadership, blogs, podcasts, industry insights, and community engagement.
- Partner with compliance, legal, communications, and brand teams to help ensure content follows Fidelity standards and required review processes.
Events
- Support Fidelity Labs and portfolio company events, including planning, logistics, event marketing, sponsorships, collateral, swag, vendor coordination, and follow-up.
- Help identify event and partnership opportunities across Fidelity Labs, portfolio companies, New Ventures, and other Fidelity business units.
- Help manage event budgets and connect social media with events to promote key moments before, during, and after.

The base salary range for this position is $60,000-115,000 USD per year.Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.
Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
