Working Hours: Weekdays 09:00 AM to 05:30 PM Includes both IRL and US holidays but time in lieu is allocated.
Investment Data Operations Analyst will perform critical functions to support daily operations, including detailed data analysis, identify and resolve data issues and answer helpdesk queries. Quality, accuracy, and timeliness are essential to the success of our function.
The Expertise We are Looking For
Highly motivated and responsive teammate's who can multi-task and have a knack for analytics. Our work is highly collaborative and involves close coordination and excellent communication with our clients, data vendors and key business and technology partners across Fidelity
- Your bachelor's degree or higher in Business /Finance, Investment banking or related field.
- Your experience (2 -3 years) in the Mutual Fund Operations or Operations role within the financial services industry is needed for the team to be successful.
- Your experience with various types of investment vehicle data including securities, mutual funds, managed accounts, blends, indices, composites, across various subject areas including characteristics and reference data.
- Your working experience in SQL and experience with tools such as R studio & Python is a plus.
- A deep knowledge of MS Office tools and ability to practically apply that knowledge.

- Ability to utilize industry research tools to procure company specific data and an ability to interpret and act on results.
- Ability to perform data analysis/research via SQL and (R & python is a plus) and your knowledge with application of MS Office tools.
The Value You Deliver
- Timely processing of daily operational tasks and helpdesk requests from the consumers.
- You identify data issues and perform root cause analysis and resolve to improve data quality on time. When needed, work with business partners and systems partners to resolve.
- Assist in documentation and transition of new areas of work, while maintaining and updating procedural documents.
- Propose process enhancements for the efficient, accurate and timely completion of all activities that includes operation tasks\helpdesk\adhoc requests from straight forward to complex.
- You're an effective teammate, with the ability to support and coach colleagues, identifying and addressing training gaps.
- Actively monitor the helpdesk queue and raise issues to the manager as appropriate for resolution.
- Participate in data management projects/initiatives that aim to improve the quality of the data.
- Assist in defining and executing test plans and support user acceptance testing for process enhancements.

Strategic Advisers, Inc. (SAI) is Fidelity’s registered investment advisor responsible for multi-manager, multi-asset class investment products and services. SAI Data strategy and Management team are the stewards of SAI data. The objective of this capability is to support investment and research related processes in SAI by providing data management to internal customers in the area of portfolio holdings data for fidelity and non-Fidelity. The SAI Dublin team oversees this capability and works closely with data strategy and technology support in Boston to ensure the data is complete, accurate and available to internal customers.
