Job Title – Chapter leader

As a Chapter Leader you will be part of Analytics Insight and Reporting Chapter(India) in WI.

The Purpose of This Role

As a chapter leader under Analytics Insight and Reporting Chapter(India), you will be responsible for Developing , maintaining and enhancing PSW reporting . You will be technically leading a team of motivated individuals proactively working on enhancing the reporting platform to make it more resilient and transform it to next gen Reporting & Insight Platform

As a technical leader, you blend deep Software Engineering knowledge with a passion for coaching, mentoring and help them grow and develop in their knowledge area and ensure alignment on the “how” of the work they perform

What You'll Do

  • Lead a team of engineers who are responsible for building, maintaining, and deploying web applications.
  • Set technical direction for the engineering team and define architectural standards in partnership with other leaders.
  • Provide direct management, coaching, and mentoring for a growing engineering team, with a specific focus on career development
  • Partner effectively with other leaders in the group to develop a cohesive and comprehensive technical strategy and roadmap, supporting our range of products.
  • Help cultivate and advocate for a culture code that emphasizes a customer focus, sharing knowledge, empowering everyone, and supporting leadership at all levels.
  • Work closely with business partners to understand their needs and help drive technical decisions in support of these goals.

The Skills and Expertise that are key to this Role

Requirements

  • Experienced player coach
  • Strong experience in AWS and other cloud platforms for data ingestion and processing
  • 10+ years of work experience in large-scale, Data Platforms focused on Data Engineering, Reporting with hands-on Data/Database Engineering Expertise.
  • Demonstrated experience in BI / Analytic and large scale BI modernization
  • Extensive experience in Python
  • Good to have experience in Pl-SQL , Oracle and Snowflake
  • Good to have experience in Reporting Tools like OBIEE and PowerBI
  • Good to have experience in Data Lake and Business Intelligence
  • Experience in developing REST API is preferred
  • Critical thinking and the ability to work in an agile environment
  • Experience working in Financial Services Industry desired with experience in WI products and data preferred
  • Strong experience in navigating organization structure
