Job Title – Chapter Lead

Asset Management Technology is seeking a highly motivated individual contributor for the Fidelity Digital Asset Management - technology team in India. This individual will partner very closely with various Fidelity Digital Asset Management Technology teams, in addition to the broader Asset management technology teams to contribute to the Digital Asset Management platform for Tokenization and Crypto Products. The associate would need to have a thorough experience in Engineering and Agile practices along with Stakeholder management.
The associate is expected to Fullstack Engineer with technical knowledge of different areas but not limited to AWS Cloud, Application Development using Java/J2EE and Blockchain related technologies. A thorough knowledge of CI/CD processes would be an added advantage.
The Purpose of Your Role
The Fidelity Digital Asset Management Technology team is responsible for Digital Asset Management platform for Tokenization and Crypto Products. This role is for an Engineering Technical Lead for this team in India Enforce Engineering practices with all team members globally Contribute to Deliveries and Releases of the Digital Asset Management platform and related components on AWS Cloud Work with Global Stakeholders and ensure effective deliveries are done by the India team Communicate effectively with other AMTech Application teams and ensure adoption of IT Blueprint for application with upstream and downstream dependencies This is a leadership position requiring significant experience working with large multifunctional teams, organizational skills, managing stakeholders, and promote engineering and Agile practices with experience preferably in the Asset Management domain

- Lead the team: As a Chapter Lead for several Squads, help manage the priorities and provide technical expertise, direction and engineering excellence for the Squad. Responsible for Act as a single point of accountability for the Engineering practices and ensure appropriate governance is in place. Manage, develop, and empower associates within the Chapter to aid in career growth and enable the delivery of increased value in their teams.
- Inspire Others: Demonstrate a deep passion for software development and asset management domain in general and create an ability to tap into the expertise of the engineering team. Passion to drive innovation at work which contributes to business value through scale and efficiency, business growth and/or investment performance
Technical
- Strong hands on experience in working on key initiative and green-field Engineering projects Strong understanding of Engineering Practices like Code Review, Branching Patterns, etc Global Stakeholder management and Strong Communication skills Mentoring And Coaching fellow squad members Required Technical skillset:
- AWS Cloud
- App Development using Java related technologies
- Streaming and Messaging technologies
- Authentication frameworks
- CI/CD Pipelines
- Testing Tools like Karate
- Experienced in ALM tools like JIRA, Confluence, Jenkins, Git Added hands-on experience with Blockchain, UI and/or DB technologies will be an advantage AWS certification is good to have
