Asset Management Technology is seeking a highly motivated individual contributor for the Fidelity Asset Management – Risk Platform technology team in India. As engineering leader, the associate would need to have a thorough experience in Engineering and Agile practices along with Stakeholder management.
The associate is expected to be a Engineering Manager with technical knowledge of different areas but not limited to AWS Cloud, Application Development using Object Oriented and Messaging related technologies. A thorough knowledge of CI/CD processes would be an added advantage.
The Purpose of Your Role
We are seeking a visionary and hands-on Engineering Manager to lead the development of our comprehensive, in-house investment risk platform. This is a critical leadership role that will shape the future of our risk management capabilities. The ideal candidate will be a "player-coach" with a deep technical background, a passion for mentorship, and a product-driven mindset. You will be responsible for building and leading a high-performing team of engineers to design, develop, and maintain a large-scale, mathematically-oriented platform that meets the evolving needs of our investment, technical, and operations teams.

Technical
Strong hands on experience in working on key initiative and Engineering projects with Strong understanding of Engineering Practices like Code Review, Branching Patterns, etc Global Stakeholder management and Strong Communication skills Mentoring And Coaching fellow squad members Required Technical skillset:
Hands-on proficiency in object-oriented programming (e.g., Python, Java, C++).
AWS Cloud
Batch and Data movement frameworks
Authentication frameworks
CI/CD Pipelines
Testing Tools like Karate
Experienced in ALM tools like JIRA, Confluence, Jenkins, Git Added hands-on experience with UI and/or DB technologies will be an advantage AWS certification is good to have

The Expertise We’re Looking For
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
Proven experience in a leadership role, managing and mentoring a team of software engineers.
Demonstrated experience in designing and building large-scale, data-intensive, and mathematically-oriented platforms.
Hands-on proficiency in object-oriented programming (e.g., Python, Java, C++).
A strong understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and best practices.
Experience working in an agile development environment.

Shift timings: 11:00 am - 8:00 pm
