What are the benefits of working in a Fidelity branch?
Team-based environment dedicated to your success
When you work in a branch, you’re part of a cohesive and supportive team that wants to help you grow in your career. “You’re really supported at Fidelity,” said Janine. “Fidelity’s culture embraces a team approach to everything. You never feel alone,” said Samir. You’ll get help when you need it, and you’ll be able to bounce ideas and share tips with other team members.
“You’re not on an island,” said Janine. “If you’re unavailable or on vacation, you have people meeting with your clients and helping them through the process.” You can truly disconnect, knowing your teammates will support your clients with the same care you show.
Branches offer opportunities to network. You’ll connect with other branches in your region and nationally through ongoing professional development events with keynote speakers, collaborative sessions, and social activities.
We show you the Fidelity way—a relentless commitment to clients
We work in the best interests of our clients. Always. Our own bottom line isn’t the driving factor. We communicate to connect as people first and foremost, not just transacting as financial servicers. We want clients to feel seen, heard, and understood and feel we help them make the best use of their time and investments. That’s the Fidelity way, being client obsessed.
“Process is king,” said Samir. “Fidelity has a vision. Clients get a similar experience whether they’re in New York, Chicago, or wherever they are.” Fidelity’s structure gives you the framework to identify and approach client needs and helps create a unified experience for all branches nationwide. We help you deliver exceptional experiences that offer the highest level of care and support for every client, every time, in a way that’s optimal for you and the team.
“I’ve seen the industry from different angles, from other jobs and firms,” said Samir. “What we’re doing at Fidelity is really unique. It combines the best parts of other companies I worked for.”
Book of business support
Fidelity provides you with a book of business from day 1. You don’t have to pound the pavement or leverage your personal relationships to drive business. Fidelity gives you access to different clients and fosters business development opportunities. “The Fidelity name carries a lot of weight,” said Samir. You’ll have the name recognition and credibility of a Fortune 500 company behind you.
Technology to help you scale up
“Fidelity says it’s more of a technology company versus a financial service company because everything we do is digital,” said Janine. Not only do we give branch associates a robust suite of tools to run different scenarios for clients, but we also provide them with back-end, integrated software to help consultants, representatives, and managers work efficiently. The tools are seamlessly connected for maximum ease and help branch associates identify new opportunities and bring fresh ideas to clients. Onsite tablets let clients do transactions securely.
An inclusive branch culture
“Our culture is very focused on associates and clients,” said Janine. Fidelity’s culture will surprise you for the better. We offer competitive total compensation packages with exceptional benefits that meet associates where they are at in life—tackling student loan debt, raising a family, or getting mental health support.
As a woman-led company, we’re committed to diversity and inclusion. We want to close the gap in employee representation in the financial services industry when it comes to race, gender, ability, and more. We know that the more diverse our associates are, the better we can serve our customers and the more successful we’ll be as a company.
Our branches are also committed to community involvement, participating in philanthropic and volunteer events. “Our branch does a lot of charitable work,” said Janine. “We recently helped pack bagged lunches for people experiencing homelessness that went to people in need that day. It was awesome.” When you work in a branch, you can feel good knowing you’re contributing positively to your local community.

Ongoing career opportunities for growth and development
Fidelity offers comprehensive training for all branch associates, whether they are transitioning into finance for the first time and need to get licensed or they’re ready to level up their finance careers.
Consultants participate in a formal 6-month training program complete with self-led trainings, seminars, and on-going coaching. After graduating, that coaching continues with weekly calls and support from regional and national consultants who act as executive coaches. “Our executive coach helps hone our skills,” said Janine. “They sit in on meetings and help you close business. They can help you with anything you’re struggling with in your process. Other firms don’t have a resource like that.”
You can also receive mentorship in and outside the branch and be a mentor yourself. “I’m a firm believer that teaching someone else helps me learn better,” said Samir. He’s able to help others while helping himself too.
You have the career flexibility to move between roles in the branch. “There are so many options for career development and growth in a branch,” said Janine. Fidelity’s Career Center helps you craft your resume and develop the skills you need to get to the next step in your career.
When it comes to promotion, we offer upward mobility in every role based on merit. “Fidelity values hard work, and they recognize talent when they see it,” said Samir.
