“We create a presence in the community that empowers clients with in-person support and easy access to services,” says Samir, a financial consultant at Fidelity. “It brings peace of mind that clients have someone to help in their local community.”

Fidelity offers multiple branch roles for candidates with a financial services background. Plus, Fidelity provides you with a book of business, so you can focus on deepening relationships. Fidelity’s unique business model means you’ll have a steady stream of clients and huge upside potential.

Branches are a great place to pivot and grow your financial services career, offering multiple opportunities. The branch functions as a team and may also lean on associates in regional call centers for telephonic support with certain transactions and needs.

  • Relationship managers
Relationship managers are organizational extraordinares who reach out to clients to book appointments and engage on a deeper level. “Relationship managers are a unique resource to Fidelity,” says Janine, a financial consultant at Fidelity. “They act like a reception person and help schedule all our appointments and manage our calendars.”
  • Investment consultants
Help guide clients with investable assets in the $100,000–500,000 range. They handle point-in-time transactions. They work with the wider Fidelity team but are more independent in their running oftheir book of business.
  • Financial consultants
Financial consultants are responsible for client relationships and are their primary advisors. They present and implement solutions to clients to help them achieve their financial goals. They meet with clients at least once a year to help them plan and strategize for the future.
  • Planning consultants
Planning consultants work together with financial consultants to help manage their books of business and pipelines and run team and client meetings.
  • Financial representatives
If you are not yet licensed, Fidelity will teach you the financial side of the business if you bring your passion for helping people. We train you on the job with a robust training that helps you pass your Series 7 and 63 exams. Financial representatives form the face of the branch, greeting clients and helping them with simple lobby services. They also serve as subject-matter specialists in compliance.

What are the benefits of working in a Fidelity branch?

Team-based environment dedicated to your success

When you work in a branch, you’re part of a cohesive and supportive team that wants to help you grow your career. “Fidelity’s culture embraces a team approach to everything. You never feel alone,” says Samir.

You can truly disconnect, knowing your teammates will support your clients with the same care you show. “You’re not on an island,” says Janine. “If you’re unavailable or on vacation, you have people meeting with your clients and helping them through the process.”

Branches also offer opportunities to network. You’ll connect with other branches in your region and nationally through ongoing professional development events with keynote speakers, collaborative sessions, and social activities.

We show you the Fidelity way—a relentless commitment to clients

We work in the best interests of our clients. Always. Our own bottom line isn’t the driving factor. We communicate to connect as people first and foremost. We want clients to feel seen, heard, and understood and feel we help them make the best use of their time and investments. That’s the Fidelity way, being client obsessed.

“Process is king,” says Samir. “Fidelity has a vision. Clients get a similar experience wherever they are.” Fidelity’s structure gives you the framework to identify and approach client needs and helps create a unified experience for all branches nationwide. We help you deliver exceptional experiences that offer the highest level of care and support for every client, every time, in a way that’s optimal for you and the team.

“I’ve seen the industry from different angles, from other jobs and firms,” says Samir. “What we’re doing at Fidelity is really unique. It combines the best parts of other companies I worked for.”

Book of business support

Fidelity provides you with a book of business from day 1. You don’t have to cold call or leverage your personal relationships to drive business. Fidelity gives you access to different clients and fosters business development opportunities.

Technology to help you scale up

“Everything we do is digital,” says Janine. Not only do we give branch associates a robust suite of tools to run different scenarios for clients, we also provide them with back-end, integrated software to help consultants, representatives, and managers work efficiently. The tools are seamlessly connected for maximum ease and help branch associates identify new opportunities and bring fresh ideas to clients.

Great benefits and culture

Fidelity’s culture will surprise you for the better.* We offer competitive total compensation packages with exceptional benefits that meet associates where they are at in life—tackling student loan debtraising a family, or getting mental health support.

As a woman-led company, we’re committed to diversity and inclusion. We want to close the gap in employee representation in the financial services industry when it comes to race, gender, ability, and more. We know that the more diverse our associates are, the better we can serve our customers and the more successful we’ll be as a company.

Ongoing career opportunities for growth and development

Fidelity offers comprehensive training for all branch associates. Consultants participate in a formal 6-month training program complete with self-led trainings, seminars, and on-going coaching. That coaching continues with weekly calls and support from regional and national consultants who act as executive coaches throughout your career.

“Our executive coach helps hone our skills,” says Janine. “They sit in on meetings and help you close business. They can help you with anything you’re struggling with in your process. Other firms don’t have a resource like that.”

You can also receive mentorship in and outside the branch and be a mentor yourself. “I’m a firm believer that teaching someone else helps me learn better,” says Samir.

You have the flexibility to move between roles in the branch. “There are so many options for career development and growth in a branch,” says Janine. Fidelity’s Career Center helps you develop the skills you need to get to the next step in your career.

When it comes to promotion, we offer upward mobility in every role based on merit. “Fidelity values hard work, and they recognize talent when they see it,” says Samir.
