We have an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated Senior Software Engineer to work on the delivery of strategic initiatives by the Workplace Investing (WI) group.
You will support a team within Stock Plan Services, an emerging equity compensation services division of Fidelity Investments. You will be accountable in helping the team deliver on their top priority goals and objectives. The Team
You will be part of the technology team in SPS which is constituted of multiple agile squads. As a member of one of these squads you will help drive collaboration across the organization and internal to the team. Being an outstanding partner, you’ll work alongside your teammates, tech leads, squad leads, quality engineering, support teams, and operations to effectively deliver and enable these global experiences. These experiences will be built around real-time recordkeeping, reporting and business intelligence features running on a modernized cloud-ready stack.
The Expertise You Have
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a technology related field (e.g. Computer Science, Engineering, etc.) required
- 5+ years of Java EE development on high volume enterprise systems
- Expert in: Middle tier –Java, RESTful services
- Experience with PL/SQL
- Experience of Cloud technologies (AWS & Azure) advantageous

- You help to define development standards and coding best practices for team
- You mentor other team members.
- Excellent Java skills are a must
- AWS & Azure skills an advantage
- Very good understanding of design patterns.
