Job Title: Principal – Full Stack Engineer

This role will include the opportunity to learn to do development on AWS and Snowflake, exciting new technologies that continues to expand across the industry.
We are seeking a Principal Full Stack Engineer to be part of an exciting and fast-paced team focused on designing and implementing an advanced Data Governance and Data quality monitoring capability that supports Fidelity Wealth and Brokerage. This position is responsible for understanding and translating business requirements into a sustainable and scalable solution. You will be part of a team that builds and drive adoption of state-of-the-art tools, UI applications, platforms and processes which enables the business group to rapidly implement data governance practices, significantly improve data quality, accelerate data usage with proper risks and controls that results in faster insights which gives competitive advantage to the firm. As part of the role, you will be collaborating with technical, analytical, and business stakeholders across the firm.

The Skills that are Key to this role
Technical / Behavioral
- 10+ years of application development experience in Python and experience using Python libraries/frameworks like Pandas, Numpy, Django for data processing and analytics.
- Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented programming and Data Structures
- Experience with Front end technologies JavaScript, HTML, CSS, VueJS, Angular
- Experience in building RESTful API/Microservices in private and public cloud (AWS,Iaas,Paas,Saas)
- Experience with SQL and any Relational Database systems like Oracle, MS SQL Server, MySQL
- Experience with AWS, Snowflake and Cloud technologies is a must
- Exposure to AI/ML & LLM Tools will be good
- Experience with DevOps, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (Maven, Jenkins, GIT, Stash, Ansible, Docker, Jira) is a must.
- Good working knowledge of Fidelity paved path solutions is a must
- Experience in Data Governance and Data Quality. Experience with Alation and Collibra platforms.
- Experience in Agile methodologies (Kanban and SCRUM) and good understanding of SDLC.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to think out of box and design end-to-end solutions
- Passion and intellectually curiosity to learn new technologies and business areas
- Exploring new technology trends and leveraging them to simplify our data ecosystem
- Collaborating with internal and external teams to deliver technology solutions for the business needs

The Expertise We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a technology related field (e.g. Engineering, Computer Science, etc.) required
- 10+ years of IT experience
