Job Title – Director, Engineering- Data Reporting and Analytics

The Role

We are seeking an Engineering Manager to lead delivery of Data-driven applications for Client Reporting platforms, including Java/Python-based systems with user interfaces and cloud-native deployments. This role is accountable for end-to-end delivery, spanning application development with a strong emphasis on execution discipline, scalability, and reliability.

Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
  • 15+ years of engineering experience including people management
  • Work experience in large-scale, Data Platforms focused on Data Engineering, Reporting with hands-on Data/Database Engineering Expertise.
  • Demonstrated experience in BI / Analytic and large-scale BI modernization
  • Strong experience in AWS RDS, Dynamo DB and other AWS databases, services for data ingestion and processing
  • Strong experience in Python and Dev Assist tools
  • Extensive Experience in Pl-SQL, Oracle and Snowflake
  • Strong experience in Reporting Tools like OBIEE and PowerBI
  • Strong experience in Data Lake and Business Intelligence
  • Experience in developing REST API is preferred
  • Critical thinking and the ability to work in an agile environment
  • Experience working in Financial Services Industry desired with experience in WI products and data preferred
  • Experience building and deploying applications on AWS, including EKS/Kubernetes
  • Strong understanding of modern architecture patterns, APIs, and UI-driven applications

  • Manage and mentor resources to meet the chapter KPIs and upskilling of the associates
  • Mentor software engineers on the team and ensure high stability and avoid SME gaps.
  • Help and drive discussion to build technology roadmap for chapter.
  • Experience leading teams in structured or hybrid delivery models
  • Strong stakeholder management and ability to operate in a matrixed organization
