Job Description:

The Fidelity YOU Program is an early career program experience crafted to prepare individuals for a career in operations. Participants are placed in a full time position and assimilate into their business team on day 1. The Fidelity YOU program kicks off in week 2 with a week long onboarding and teambuilding event in Westlake, Texas.

Upon completion of the robust 2 week on-boarding experience, participants begin training for their full-time role and come together monthly with their cohort for business unit networking and learning sessions focused on building skills and capabilities.

Fidelity YOU is crafted to support recent graduates in their assimilation to our culture and provides numerous opportunities throughout the 24 month experience for networking, relationship building and accelerated learning. The program meets the learner where they are and provides experiences for associates to learn and apply their newly developed skills in a safe cohort environment. The program experience provides associates with the tools and resources needed to build a robust career in operations.

Program Highlights

The following business areas participate in the program. You will be hired into your full time role on day 1 and participate in Fidelity YOU’s 2 week onboarding. Post onboarding, the cohort will come together for 4 hours monthly for 24 months – providing ongoing opportunities to accelerate your skill development and expand your network across our operations community – all in support of helping you build a career in operations.

  • Operations and Services Group (OSG) (Jersey City/ Smithfield/Westlake/Covington): provides back-office support functions for a registered broker dealer that provides systems support, operational services, information management and financial products to retail and institutional customers worldwide.  This includes responding to inbound calls, performing trade execution, and acting as a client advocate throughout the Fidelity organization.
  • Client Experience (CE) (Smithfield/ Westlake): provides service and operational support to clients including addressing client inquiries regarding: Transfer of Assets, New Accounts, and Money Movement. The Client Experience organization is committed to delivering innovative client experience solutions across our platforms, products and services.
  • Fidelity Fund and Investment Operations (FFIO) (Merrimack):provides accounting and investment management support services to Fidelity businesses and mutual fund shareholders. The mission of FFIO is to deliver exceptional investment services. In this group, participants will shadow roles through four groups within FFIO including fund accounting, data management, trade processing, and regulatory reporting.
  • Brokerage (Westlake/Covington): supports Fidelity’s Personal Investment associates and Retail clients with new accounts, account features, money movement and other needs. PI is dedicated to pursing accurate and swift execution of every client request.

The base salary range for this position is $39,000-$61,000 per year.  

Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.

Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
