The Role
As Director of Communications for Fidelity’s Asset Management (AM) and Enterprise Services (ES) organizations, you will work in close partnership with Fidelity AM executives and investment professionals, supporting high-impact communications and fostering alignment across the investment organization. You will also collaborate with Fidelity’s ES businesses that develop new sources of revenue, explore emerging technologies, enhance operational capabilities, and improve the customer experience. You’ll work directly with senior leaders in AM and ES to develop thoughtful, strategic, and impactful communications campaigns, executive speaking points, presentations, intranet content, and messaging across digital, social channels and live events.
Collaborating with business and functional partners, you’ll drive communications that align with Fidelity priorities, connect associates to the business strategy, and support organizational and cultural change. You’ll have opportunities to grow and deliver impact as you partner closely with colleagues in Fidelity’s Corporate Communications and Corporate Affairs teams covering government relations, public policy, external communications, community relations, social media, and more.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- Bachelor’s Degree, 10 plus years as a communications professional; experience with executive, internal, or external communications essential.
- Proven success building and maintaining relationships with senior stakeholders and business partners.
- Strong storytelling, written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
- Experience delivering strategies and communications that effectively support organizational change initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals and stakeholder engagement.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously in a fluid environment.
- You can independently drive key components of communications and change management initiatives.
- You are highly motivated and can thrive in a fast-paced and constantly evolving team environment.
- You are an innovative thinker who brings a creative mindset to solving problems.
- You have a strategic approach and can effectively evolve strategies based on feedback.

This role sits in the Leadership Communications organization within Corporate Communications.
We connect our work to larger enterprise efforts that reach a range of internal and external audiences.
Fidelity’s Onsite Working Model
Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles.
Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.
Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
