Our 10-week Fidelity Intern Program provides the opportunity for college-level students from all areas of study to explore and learn more about Fidelity's business and culture. Learn on the job, network with Fidelity associates, join fun and engaging intern events, and gain an experience that will help launch your future career.
The internship application process
Here’s what you can expect during our summer internship application season.
- You apply during the fall of your sophomore or junior year
- Fidelity reviews your resume
- Selected students have an initial phone call with a Fidelity recruiter
- If your skills and experience are a match, we'll invite you to interview
- Fidelity makes intern selections
- If you're selected, we hope you decide to accept the offer
Internship focus areas
When you apply for an internship, you can indicate your interest in a certain area of Fidelity's business. What you’ll do
Develop financial, business, and consultative skills as you work with the team that provides advice to finance and human resource executives regarding their retirement, health and welfare, and employee communication needs.

What you’ll do
Shadow with client-facing associates as they speak to customers on the phone, and start taking calls on your own as we help you build confidence to support Fidelity clients. In addition, you’ll work on individual and group projects and learn from knowledgeable career guides.
