Job Title: Software Engineer
Build a data platform to support Asset Management’s performance compute needs. If you have a passion for working with data using multiple new technologies on the cloud, this might be the right opportunity for you!
You will work with leads & principal engineers, architects, product owners, and global technology teams to deliver solutions based on established designs and engineering standards.
The Purpose of Your Role
The Software Engineer will be part of a core team responsible for building the Performance Compute Platform for Asset Management. This includes evaluating various technologies and building a high-performance compute engine which calculates performance metrics for portfolio models, ensuring scalability, accuracy, and low-latency processing of large-scale financial datasets.
You will implement well-defined technical requirements, write maintainable code, test your solutions, resolve defects, and support deployed applications.

The Skills that are Key to this role
- You have strong programming proficiency across Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, Python, and scripting languages.
- You have working knowledge of Snowflake, ETL/ELT and data-pipeline concepts
- You have experience with AWS services such as S3, Lambda, EC2, IAM etc
- You are familiar with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing
- You enjoy working on different technologies to solve business problems
- You can readily adapt to changing requirements and priorities
- You enjoy learning new technologies, data analysis, identifying data patterns and trends
- You can independently resolve technical challenges, identify options and come up with innovative solutions
- You have Strong communication skills to handle various partners in India as well as in US
- You are Self-Motivated and inventive. Confident and able to work alone as effectively as in a team
Skills That Are Good to Have
- Experience with Unix and shell scripting
- Familiarity with Angular, REST APIs and event-driven processing
- Experience with scheduling tools such as Autosys, Control-M, or Airflow
- You have good knowledge in Reporting tools like Power BI or Tableau
- Experience working in Agile development teams
- AWS or Snowflake foundational certification
- Financial services or investment management domain knowledge
