The Role
Fidelity Workplace Investments is looking for a Vice President, Associate Experience Architecture to be a leader in moving us forward on our digital associate & content experience and the journey for Associate Experience & Service Strategy Product Area. You will lead a talented and diverse team responsible for delivering on the WI Digital Experience Domain's strategic vision by crafting capabilities to our workplace investing customers. Working closely with business partners and technology teams to understand the associate desktop landscape and deliver sophisticated and scalable experiences to our customers. In alignment with the Enterprise teams, you will move the WI strategy forward.
The Expertise We’re Looking For
- People Management: Senior level experience leading, organizing coaching, mentoring, and developing people.
- Architectural Mentality: Active curiosity to conceptualize, design, and deliver associate platforms; Helping articulate, govern, and evolve the realization of WI’s associate capabilities to align with business objectives, goals, and strategy. Extensive experience decomposing important business problems into creative, efficient, and scalable solutions.
- Desktop and Content Experience: Experience delivering associate desktop and content solutions. Hands-on knowledge of interop.io, OpenFin, Adobe Experience Manager, or Tridion technologies to deliver enterprise-scale solutions that are elegant, secure, and dynamic.
- Communication: Good communication skills that drive program messaging, influence decisions to Senior Leaders
- Collaboration: Ability to navigate sophisticated, interpersonal relationships and build partnerships across the firm at all levels
- Leadership: Strong management, facilitation, and problem-solving skills are a must; providing technical leadership and hands on day-to-day solutions to squads
- Influencing Skills: Employs collaborative approach to gain consensus and support for the needs of the work. Understands organizational dynamics and adapts proposals to efficiently navigate constraints.
- Digital Reuse: Understanding the complexities of supporting omni-channel reuse.
The Purpose of Your Role
In this role, you will serve as the Vice President of Associate Experience Architecture directing a team of architects focusing on associate desktop experiences, frameworks, and platforms. You will provide leadership for the overall associate desktop platform, responsible for the design, implementation, and quality for these desktop experiences. You will work closely with the Product Area to address sophisticated and exciting business problems and recommend impactful architecture solutions for Fidelity’s associate and associate content experiences.

- Influence and articulate architecture solutions to product, development, and architecture leadership.

- Extensive knowledge of internet, desktop, and application architecture, as well as current and emerging technologies
- Extensive experience with content technologies (SDL Tridion and Adobe experience manager) and search engines (SOLR, Kendra and Lucid works) etc.

- Ability to be highly organized, very responsive, and committed to quality and high standards.
- Experience leading and coordinating architecture for the development and deployment of key associate apps and features.
- Extensive experience building desktop applications with Glue42 or OpenFin.
- Experience with content management and search technologies such as SDL, AEM, Kendra, OpenSearch, and Lucid Works
- Deep knowledge of client-side technologies including Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript, Client-Side Eventing strategies, etc.
- Strong technical background on API standards and technologies, open micro service architectures, building digital query bases APIs with GraphQL
