Job Description:
As the Stock Plan Services (SPS) Product Manager, also known as the Squad Leader, you blend Stock Plan expertise with a passion for delivering results. In an agile format and structure, you will partner with other leaders to influence the broader strategic decisions and roadmaps, define the resource requirements, set the mission, and bring squads together to execute on specific results and ensure respective products or services are available, stable, performant, and supported when required and related cost and maintenance is managed. You will ensure alignment on the “what” and “when” of the work performed by the squads through ongoing planning and prioritization, to enable the squad to work iteratively, innovate when appropriate, celebrate successes, and learn from failures. You will also be committed to maintaining and developing your own expertise and knowledge to ensure you bring the latest thinking to your role. You will work in partnership with the Product Area Leader, team members, and chapter leaders. By role modeling and promoting agile and Fidelity leadership principles, you will promote and sustain an innovative agile culture.
This role will focus on driving alignment & advocacy across all product related activities for the Stock Plan global offering, including:

Liaising with sales & product marketing to help create the product roadmap and support materials

Driving engagement with cross-functional team members to understand product needs (market view & operational support view), thus enabling a comprehensive view of product engagement needs across lines of business

Driving alignment of product requirements, product roadmaps, and execution plans across lines of business through their respective product managers & teams across the full spectrum of our product offering

Driving alignment of product support model across lines of business through their respective product managers & teams across the full spectrum of our product offering, as well as through each organizations respective Prod Support arms

Drive alignment of ongoing test support needs across lines of business across the full spectrum of our product offering

Drive definition of product needs for SIP/SAYE integration with partner/vendor firms and align internal teams as necessary to support execution of your product vision
The Expertise We’re Looking For

8-10 years of related product management experience, systems development, product development, and/or project/product management
-
Bachelor’s degree preferred

Financial services experience preferred

Agile experience preferred

The Team
Stock Plan Services provides companies with outstanding administration for their equity compensation programs, including stock option, restricted stock, employee stock purchase, stock appreciate and performance plans. SPS Product Development supports the business and technology work streams that deliver against approved initiatives including new products for emerging markets and improvements to existing products.
