Job Description:
Investment Sales Associate (ISA) is the entry role to our extensive, multi-year Investment Sales Desk Development Program (ISDP). As part of the Fidelity Institutional (FI) – Intermediary Investment Client Group, we offer a collaborative, competitive and high energy sales environment. The ISA role will prepare and expose you to many facets of financial services and investment products. The Expertise We’re Looking For

Bachelor’s degree

Series 7 & Series 63 licenses required (may be attained in role)

Experience in financial services and sales is helpful, but not required

As an Investment Sales Associate (ISA) your primary responsibility will be consulting with financial advisor clients via phone and Zoom. You will provide valuable market insight, investment product overviews, and portfolio construction ideas to help financial advisors achieve their client’s financial goals. You will have the opportunity to grow your foundational knowledge of the financial industry.
The Investment Sales Development Program is a multi-year development program that is crafted with several distinct phases to help you grow your foundational knowledge of the financial industry while developing vital skills. In each phase you will be working with our intermediary clients to influence the sale of our investment products. As you develop your skill sets, you will earn the opportunity to interview for merit-based promotion, based on exhibited command of competencies.
The three phases within the program:

Licensing, training, and supporting financial advisor investment product inquiries

Pro-active client engagement to initiate new client relationships and sales opportunities

Sales territory ownership with an external sales partner, to drive investment product sales

Compensation/Career Progression

ISAs earn up to 74K annually. This encompasses base salary, performance bonuses and incentive bonuses for training milestones.

After the 12-18 months of training, employees are eligible for in-line promotions to Regional Investment Consultant (RIC) and Senior RIC. At these levels, your earning potential is at least 95K and 115K, respectively. The salary at these levels includes a base salary and an uncapped commission target.

Upon completion of the Investment Sales Development Program, you’re eligible to move into senior-level sales roles across Fidelity!
