- Raising defects in the platform to the product owner group and communicating timelines and remediation strategies to clients to ensure a good experience.
- Assisting Product Owners in developing roadmaps, refining requirements from clients, architecting new features, and prioritizing work items.
- Formalizing the client success lifecycle by designing and implementing support and client engagement metrics.
- Agreeing adoption paths with each research team and shepherding their progress, alerting partners to deviations and holding research teams accountable for using solutions built for them.
- Providing readouts to management with updates on platform adoption and strategy.
The Skills You Bring
- Technical understanding of quantitative research and the production lifecycle, including signal research, optimization, backtesting, and portfolio construction, with deep understanding of the design and implementation of quant platform tools.
- Experience building and using modern quant research platforms to conduct research, manipulate large and sophisticated datasets, and produce models for research and production.
- Deep data domain experience with “core” quant datasets including security reference data, prices, fundamentals, and index data, as well as data-related processes including mastering and transformation.
- Experience in a client-facing, technical product management role, collecting and shaping user requirements and leading the client relationship.

- Strong operations and process driven approach with exceptional attention to detail.
- Implement strategic solutions to achieve QRI’s long-term objectives, while adopting tactical approaches as needed, effectively negotiating with counterparts, fostering accountability, and simplifying sophisticated concepts for clear understanding. Skilled at communicating concisely and strategically with senior management and other partners while simultaneously being able to drill into details to evaluate technical solutions.
- Strong hands-on quant research, data and infrastructure skills including model management and data quality.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; experience working with both technical and investment teams.
Education and Experience
- 10+ years of relevant work experience in the financial industry

- Experience at a leading quant asset manager or hedge fund using a quant research platform in your daily responsibilities.
- Fluency with both equity and fixed income quantitative strategies.
- Demonstrable success supporting quant researchers in a technical capacity, guiding their technical designs, and shaping their model implementations.
- Proven track record of delivering solutions in sophisticated data environments and associated technology and analytics infrastructure needed to support these environments.
- A proven ability to partner with quantitative researchers, database engineers, investment services, and portfolio managers.
