Job Description:

    Position Description:

    Creates stories for team backlogs using MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and JIRA. Collaborates closely with business partners, development teams, external vendors, and quality assurance (QA) on plans, project management, requirements, design, tests, and implementation of solutions throughout the software development lifecycle. Implements clients and acts as a liaison between business partners and IT teams to provide effective technical solutions using PostgreSQL, ETL for inbound files processes. Assist in defining minimum viable product (MVP) in collaboration with the Squad Leader and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) using Jira, Confluence, and business requirement documents.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Analyzes and harnesses technology to solve complex business problems.
    • Delivers and implements technology solutions within a digital experience to enhance customers experience.
    • Prioritizes, develops and maintains product backlog to deliver software.
    • Translates business requirements to technical resources to focus the team on delivers business solutions with the highest customer value.
    • Works in an Agile environment by collaborating with technology and business customers to develop and implement product and service features.
    • Implements various business analysis methodologies and techniques — data analysis, use case development, story writing, user acceptance testing, and product documentation.
    • Creates, documents, and leads scrum team backlog — writing user stories, developing acceptance criteria, and running refinement sessions.
    • Defines and documents enablement tasks, supports user procedure documentation, creation and delivery of solution trains to internal teams, and communication.
    • Conducts business analyses to formulate and make recommendations for better development of software applications.

    Education and Experience:

    Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and three (3) years of experience as a Senior Business Analyst (or closely related occupation) performing business development analysis using Microsoft Suite or JIRA within an Agile environment.

    Or, alternatively, Master’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and one (1) year of experience as a Senior Business Analyst (or closely related occupation) performing business development analysis using Microsoft Suite or JIRA within an Agile environment.

    Skills and Knowledge:

    Candidate must also possess:

    • Demonstrated Expertise (“DE”) analyzing and defining the product management lifecycle, managing requirements and workflows using JIRA, Confluence, QlikSense, or MS Visio); and performing end-to-end implementation of healthcare benefit platform products using Microsoft Suite, JIRA, QlikSense, Confluence, or Jira Align.
    • DE performing functional, full regression, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) of stories using Postman UI, DBeaver, single client feed validations, or SQL Server.
    • DE implementing business logics and maintaining referential integrity by creating views and SQL joins using stored procedures, PostgreSQL, or Dbeaver (SQL).
    • DE discovering and analyzing data requirements for clients by representing them into logical data models using SQL Server.
