Job Description:
The Role
Senior Systems Analyst
As Senior Systems Analyst you are deeply committed to improving the value delivered to our customers. In an agile structure you will collaborate with other squad members, squad lead, chapter lead and business and technology partners in various business units across the firm to help establish the requirements for your squad, influence the strategic decisions and help build solutions for your domain. In this role, you will:

Draw upon your strong systems analysis skills and a demonstrable ability to break down a sophisticated problem or opportunity and offer solutions.

Demonstrate a global mind-set working and orchestrating across distributed teams and management.

Work with agile team and planning leads to identify, define and agile tools deployment to ensure work aligns with strategic goals and roadmap.

Utilize structured, disciplined, and data-oriented process to identify root cause and solve problems across tools.
-
Effectively communicate progress to senior team. Participate in executive level presentations for internal or external use as applicable to communicate project and portfolio status and plans.

Liaison with and manage some of our vendors.
- Provide systems design/ patterns for multi-tier systems integrations.
The Skills and Expertise You Bring:

Degree in Technology discipline/Business with strong IT focus
-
7+ years of Systems Analysis experience within the IT field, financial services, or related environment
-
Proven ability to work across cross functional teams
-
Ability to work with business or technology stakeholders in defining problem statement and resolving issues
-
Ability to gather requirements, document system integrations and flows, create stories and epics for squad deliverables
-
Experience working in an environment with multiple applications and integrations
-
Excellent communication skills – verbal, written, and presentation
-
Passionate about your craft with an ability to effectively collaborate and interact with global development team – assist with clarifying customer requirements and quality check on products prior to customer release
-
Facilitate regular meetings with global development team and customer/squad lead
-
Ability to influence others with experience in conflict resolution
-
SQL and database knowledge, preferred; Power BI is a bonus.

Experience with Java, REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, a plus

Support project and release planning and testing
-
Provide prompt and proactive status updates on assigned activities
-
Knowledge of Scaled agile, Agile development methodologies and Agile deployment
-
Is driven and persistent. Proven track record of supporting effective organizational change

You operate with a “can-do” attitude despite uncertainties and business flux

You can assess audience needs and identify/coordinate team resources to solve a variety of problems

Good interpersonal, teamwork and leadership skills (without direct authority of others).

Strong written and verbal communications skills with the ability to cultivate support, lead change and drive acceptance at all levels of the organization, up to and including the executive level.

Adaptable and agile, can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines and make project adjustments to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
The Team
The Manage Legal squad partners closely with Fidelity’s legal department in developing and supporting best in class solutions that improve efficiency and effectiveness in core legal processes. It supports both custom and vendor applications, as well as integrations between the various applications. These span a wide range of technologies, from traditional development to low code to Software as a Service (SaaS).
