Customer Service Opportunities

You might not be an expert on financial services, but that doesn’t mean you can’t thrive at Fidelity. We have an industry-leading training program and offer three entry-level Customer Service opportunities for unlicensed professionals. Choose the path that interests you most and we’ll take care of the rest.

CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIP ADVOCATE

  • Answer inbound calls from existing customers
  • Assist with account basics then progress to more complex calls around money movement, mutual fund trading, transfer of assets, and more!
  • We provide study support and pay for you to earn your Series 7 & 63 securities licenses (required)

FINANCIAL CUSTOMER ASSOCIATE

  • Answer inbound calls from existing customers
  • Assist with questions and transactions related to 401(k) retirement plans and related products—helping to take loans, make withdrawals, and more!
  • Future potential for you to pursue your Series 7 & 63 securities licenses (optional)

WORKPLACE PLANNING ASSOCIATE

  • Place requested outbound calls and answer inbound calls
  • Provide planning and advice to 401(k) participants so they get the most out of their Employer Plan—helping with investment and contribution decisions.
  • We provide study support and pay for you to earn your Series 7 & 66 securities licenses (required)

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The hours of operation differ for each Regional Center but in general, the hours are designed to make our associates available as much as possible for clients.

The number of associates working in a Regional Center differs for each location and can range from 700 associates to over 5,500 associates.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

All of our Regional Center roles have a base salary and are eligible for a variable compensation plan. Role-specific details will be discussed in our interview process.

ADVANCEMENT OPPORTUNITIES

With our 10 Regional Centers, there are many opportunities to grow, both within a Regional Center and across the different locations.
Fidelity recognizes that career growth is enhanced through internal mobility. At the same time, it is important that employees remain in every position long enough to learn the skills required for the job and to fully contribute to the organization that provided the employee with the training and learning opportunity. Generally, Fidelity expects that in most circumstances the proper balance between career growth and contributions to the business unit require an employee to be in a position for at least 12 months before seeking other Fidelity opportunities.
