Senior Full Stack Developer - Angular

The Role

Fixed Income Technology is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Full Stack Developer to join the Fixed Income User Experience - Center of Excellence Team. As a member of our team, you will play a key role in designing and implementing high-quality user interfaces and ensuring best practices are followed across all UI development activities. You will help build and propagate common components that can be reused across the Fixed Income App universe to create world-class streamlined user experiences that will support and improve our investment process. These tools are critically important to the work of the investment team in handling risk, adding return, and operating our business.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • BS in Computer Science or equivalent degree and over five years of professional experience

  • Experience developing applications using Angular as primary frontend framework for UI

  • Experience working with product managers, UX/UI designers, and back-end developers to translate business requirements into technical solutions

  • Exposure to AWS/Azure cloud environment and proven understanding of CI/CD & DevOps

  • Solid grasp of how to use rapid development approaches bringing to bear enterprise capabilities to deliver robust business solutions

  • Extremely versatile and comfortable working alongside investment professionals as well as developing creative technical solutions

  • Experience decomposing sophisticated business problems into creative, efficient, and scalable solutions

  • Excellent active listening, verbal and written communication skills and brings excitement that builds collaboration and community

  • Ability to respond to a variety of requests and being able to prioritize them effectively

  • Negotiate a balance between 'absolute best' and 'efficient and practical' to good effect

  • Ability to learn new technology, business workflows, concepts, processes and contribute to the investment process

  • Trusted technical partner that collaborates closely with end users to understand and respond to business needs

  • Bring curiosity and a questioning mind-set to work, asking always about the 'why' and the 'value' of an activity or task

The Team

The User Experience - Center of Excellence (UX COE) team works directly with product managers and investment professionals to build standardized user experience solutions to make it easier for developers to focus on business functionality rather than look and feel and re-imagining common capabilities. The goal is to facilitate a common UI for business users and developers to be familiar with an added benefit of reducing our Technology Lifecycle Management. Asset Management Technology (AMT) provides worldwide technology and support to all the Investment Management, Research, Trading, and Investment Operations functions. AMT is an integral partner for Asset Management to deliver innovative, scalable, industry-leading investment tools that enable Asset Management to achieve competitive advantage globally.
