The Role
Fidelity’s Workplace Investing group is looking for a Principal Full Stack Engineer to join us in the design and development of mission critical web applications and financial tools using the latest technology stack in a collaborative and engaging environment. As a part of WI distributed Financial Operations Chapter, you will partner closely with business, operations & engineering teams to implement next generation technology solutions to transform our operational landscape.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information technology
Principal Full Stack Java Engineer with 9 to 12 years of experience in software delivery, with at least 3 years in complex IT projects/initiatives.
Experience building applications using a broad stack of technologies (UI, API, data, etc.) such as Angular, SQL, Java, J2EE stack, Spring/Spring Boot, Azure/AWS, SQL, Maven or Ant, Jenkins, CICD pipeline, Git and Test-Driven Development (TDD)
Should be equally good on Angular and Java.
Ability to work with Architects and able to influence them.
Ability to perform technical analysis of sophisticated applications
Experience working in agile teams and sound knowledge of agile scrum methodology
A quick learner and willing to take initiative.
Experience in communicating technical needs and capabilities to non-technical team members, product owners, and partners
Very good communication.
