The Role

As Manager, Due Diligence, you will lead day-to-day execution across assigned investigative teams and specialized workstreams. You’ll oversee delivery, capacity, prioritization, quality, and escalations to ensure work is completed consistently, efficiently, and with strong risk discipline.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead daily operations for assigned teams, including case execution, prioritization, and workflow management

  • Make team-level decisions on case handling, prioritization, and escalations within established governance

  • Manage team capacity and service performance to support timely, consistent delivery

  • Oversee case quality, documentation standards, controls, and escalation readiness

  • Coach and develop associates and senior consultants to strengthen capability, judgment, and execution consistency

  • Align team execution with broader operational priorities and business needs

  • Drive continuous improvement and strengthen process consistency across assigned teams

  • Analyze risk trends and communicate key themes and emerging concerns to senior leadership

  • Lead or support operational initiatives that improve execution across the department

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in due diligence, investigations, intelligence, compliance, risk, or related operational leadership

  • Strong knowledge of investigative practices, risk indicators, escalation frameworks, and team operations

  • Demonstrated ability to solve moderately complex problems and make sound decisions with limited oversight

  • Experience leading workflow execution, capacity planning, prioritization, and service delivery

  • Strong people leadership skills, including coaching, feedback, development, and team capability-building

  • Ability to identify operational risks, assess trends, and communicate insights clearly to leadership

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to deliver risk-based recommendations

  • Experience improving processes, reinforcing quality standards, and maintaining strong controls in a team environment

The Team

The Due Diligence Investigations team delivers trusted risk intelligence that helps protect Fidelity, strengthen decisions, and create value across the organization. Through objective research and analysis, DDI helps business partners identify and manage risk across proposed and existing business relationships.

Fidelity’s Onsite Working Model
Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles.
