If so, Fidelity Real Estate is seeking a Vice President, Facilities & Operations to join our global Facilities & Operations team!
The Vice President of Facilities & Operations, Head of Facilities & Operations, will lead a team of real estate professionals, including our 3rd party facility management partners, that jointly oversee all operational aspects of office space within the global portfolio. This leader will drive asset value through critical thinking, effective expense management and infrastructure planning; focusing on associates' needs by leading a team of Hospitality professionals and oversight of amenity programs such as cafeteria and fitness operations, etc. To do this, you will collaborate, seamlessly, with groups inside and outside of Real Estate.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
15+ years of experience in operations, facility management, real estate, corporate strategy, or management consulting or Masters with 13+ years of experience
Proven expertise developing and leading sophisticated strategic initiatives, with experience delivering successful outcomes
Experience applying creative frameworks to quickly innovate, improve and sustain impactful programs
Ability to initiate, develop, and foster collaborative relationships, in a matrix environment, with internal and external team members across all global sites
Ability to effectively articulate a clear strategic vision and influence partners throughout all levels of the organization
A consumer-first approach with curiosity and passion to deliver against all needs
Confidence and ability to apply financial and operational considerations to develop strategies and execute plans
Comfort and success operating in a fast paced and agile culture
Apply industry leading standards and principles and lead operational and engineering teams to maintain space and concepts that enable the organization’s vision
Partner with other real estate functions to align on priorities, develop solutions, and evolve programs with a focus on financial stewardship; develop ways to increase asset value, decrease operational expenses, and prioritize capital spending
Connect with enterprise leaders to ensure a cohesive and seamless strategic foundation, with emphasis on associate engagement
Lead a team of real estate professionals who are responsible for the daily operation for Fidelity Investments US western real estate portfolio (circa 2.6 M+ square feet)
Manage up to 5 director-level people leaders: focusing on goals setting, professional development, leadership, and ongoing communication
24X7 on-call coverage
Ability to travel up to 30% of the time
