Contributions Senior Analyst – III
The Role

National Charitable Services performs philanthropic services for the largest donor advised fund in the world, Fidelity Charitable. Service Delivery & Operations supports money movement, money in and money out, all functions that enable our donors, advisors and non profit organizations to accomplish their goals! We have a new opportunity on our Money In Team and our job is to ensure that all the contribution transactions are accounted for and accurately recorded. A lot of the daily work is managed through tools of Fidelity Investments, but our business model is unique!

The Expertise and The Skills You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree
- 2-3 years Financial or Service Industry background required
- Knowledge of the financial services and/or non-profit industry, specifically as it relates to operations
- Demonstrated attention to detail, with good follow-through
- Strong organizational, planning, multi-tasking, time management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and within tight deadlines
- Ability to identify and mitigate potential areas of risk
- Working knowledge of Fidelity systems (FBSI, XTRAC), a plus
- You have a high sense of urgency and understand when to escalate
- Your strong and effective verbal and written communication skills
- Your very best problem solving skills with excellent follow through
- You are a team player with the ability to influence without authority
- You are flexible with overtime as requested (especially November & December – Giving Season)
The Value You Deliver
- Process contributions of cash equivalents and securities
- Coordinate the transfer of mutual fund contributions held outside of Fidelity by delivering the necessary paperwork to Fidelity’s Transfer of Assets department and then tracking the status of the pending transactions
- Contact internal business partners, transfer agents, advisors, donors to facilitate the delivery of pending contributions
- Maintain effective business relationships with Fidelity business partners including Legal, Risk and Compliance, Program, RSS, TOA and Deliveries
- Collaborate with internal Charitable business partners to fulfill special handling
- Employ good sound judgment in decision making or problem resolution
- Ensure daily work meets accuracy standards and is completed in a timely manner, with appropriate tracking and escalation of aging items
- Suggest process improvements and system enhancements that will increase efficiency and/or mitigate risk to the organization
- Assist with maintaining up-to-date procedures
- You are flexible with overtime as requested (especially November and December – Giving Season)
