The Role

As a Senior Financial Analyst within the WI Fidelity Health Finance team, you will deliver impactful and insightful analysis across the organization. The main objective of this role is to help execute Financial Planning and Analysis duties for the Fidelity Health organization including Health and Welfare (H and W), Health Savings Accounts (HSA), Reimbursement Accounts (RA) as well as Fidelity Medicare Services (FMS). In a highly matrixed organization, the role will have the opportunity to work across multiple teams to support the annual planning cycle, provide insightful monthly P and L analysis, KPI management, and support ongoing adhoc analytics on the team.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for consolidating business unit results and delivering a concise executive summary. You will support the creation of detailed financial plans for revenue, expense, and headcount. You will utilize tools and business knowledge to continuously provide insightful information, reporting, and analytics that evolve with changes in the business. Additionally, you’ll proactively partner and communicate with business and Finance partners. You will also help define key performance indicators (KPI) and support ongoing tracking efforts.

The role will require strong critical thinking skills, an eye for detail and ability to prioritize work. Comfort with data visualization tools and concepts will be a key enabler along with some knowledge and an interest to dive into the Business Unit Strategy. The candidate for this role should be able to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented, collaborative environment.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • A bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or equivalent; MBA or advanced degree a plus.
  • 5 years of professional experience in Finance; 3 years of experience with advanced degree.
  • Applicants must have exceptional analytical, communication, conceptual thinking, and problem-solving capabilities. Flexibility and the skill to both lead and contribute to teams.
  • Strong skills in MS Excel, PivotTables and PowerPoint along with experience in NGAV, Anaplan, PowerBI and DOMO
  • Your business maturity and presence to effectively interact with senior management.
  • Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to influence others across the company and build relationships.
  • Your ability to envision the big picture while maintaining close attention to detail.
  • Your solid understanding of financial principles and practical experience in applying this knowledge to business situations.
  • Your synthesis of analysis and research into strategic insights and practical recommendations.
  • Ability to create financial models, run scenario analysis, and understand and assess options
  • Your ability to manage multiple deliverables independently and with a high degree of efficiency.

The Team

You’ll be part of the WI Fidelity Health Finance Team, a high-impact group within Workplace Investing (WI), which provides financial support and analysis for the healthcare business. This team plays a pivotal role in driving strategic priorities, supporting new business growth, and enhancing market share for the firm.
