  • Facilitating high-impact learning engaging events (live and virtual) at all levels of the organization – using a variety of advanced facilitation techniques and learning methodologies to fit the desired outcomes.
  • Building relationships through effective consulting, risks mitigation, and follow up – ensuring learning is applied and impacts measured.
  • Working cross-functionally with learning professionals and project teams to develop and tailor solutions to meet complex learning needs - ensuring clarity of objectives, and structured outcomes.
  • Advising leaders and our extended HR team to clarify learning needs that support business, team and individual growth - shaping agendas, enabling alignment with priorities.
  • Contributing to, and building our organization's capabilities in facilitation, engagement and inclusive practices.

Candidates for this role will bring experiences that demonstrate their ability to deliver learning outcomes to all levels of the organization, using a wide variety of facilitation skills and methodologies. Strong skills in deploying advanced facilitated learning engagements with complex learning outcomes. Ability to develop credibility with audiences and participants using expert facilitation skills in environments beyond traditional learning-centered events.

Effectiveness in this role depends upon a demonstrated ability to adapt their advanced facilitation techniques – consistent with adult learning principles and industry best practices - applied to a wide variety of programs and workshops.

Works independently and takes a leading role/ownership of programs and ensures effective outcomes are agreed upon and delivered. While equally adept at working cross-functionally with leaders and teams to manage complex program elements and deliverables.

Displays strong judgement when solving complex problems and effectively uses data to influence decision makers and partners - uses key insights to measure learning effectiveness/impact.

Brings a deep understanding and subject matter expertise of learning, facilitation and business acumen when making decisions. Communicates decisions effectively to critical stakeholders – building trusting relationships with internal clients by consulting on learning needs prior to session/program delivery.

  • Education – Bachelors or equivalent with 8 years of experience or Masters with 6 years of experience
  • Specialized Experience - formal instructor-led facilitation in the Learning/Talent industry – combined with continuous professional development.
  • Other learning/certifications – preference for candidates with certifications in a variety of learning programs and development assessments.

The Team

Supporting the Fidelity Institutional (FI) business unit, the FI Learning Team is part of FI Human Resources. We work collaboratively to support targeted business, talent, and learning strategies for each FI business group. We discover learning needs/outcomes, design, develop, deploy and measure solutions to meet these needs and value-added outcomes. Our work is aligned to the broader Fidelity enterprise talent and learning organization’s strategy - we work closely with these partners to achieve our goals and contribute to the broader Fidelity strategy.

Fidelity’s Onsite Working Model
Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles.
