Director – Software Engineering, CRM
The Role
Step into a high-impact leadership role where you’ll help shape the future of our Wealth and Brokerage Salesforce Platform. As a Director of Software Engineering, you’ll lead the delivery, execution and evolution of our Salesforce platform, driving innovation and scalable solutions that directly power business growth and exceptional associate experiences.
In this role, you’ll combine strategic thinking with hands-on technical leadership, owning end-to-end delivery while fostering a culture of engineering excellence. You’ll guide and inspire high-performing teams, enabling them to build resilient, scalable Salesforce solutions.
You’ll partner closely with Product, Architecture, and Functional leaders to align priorities, influence strategy, and ensure the seamless execution of critical initiatives.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- 12–15 years of experience in software engineering, with 8 years leading large, distributed Salesforce engineering teams delivering enterprise-scale solutions
- Proven ability to deliver complex Salesforce solutions, end-to-end with predictable, high-quality outcomes
- Strong command of Agile methodologies (Scrum) and product-driven delivery models
- Proven capability to balance new feature development, platform stability, and technical debt remediation
- Deep expertise across Salesforce ecosystem (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Financial Services Cloud, CRM Analytics, integrations, APIs)
- Advanced knowledge of Salesforce architecture, data modeling, security, and scalability
- Hands-on leadership in solution design, integration patterns, and enterprise architecture alignment
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and modern engineering standards within Salesforce ecosystems
- Strong partnership with Product to align roadmaps, prioritize backlogs, and execute against business outcomes
- Ability to translate business strategy into scalable technical solutions and engineering roadmaps
- Skilled in cross-functional influence, driving alignment across Product, Architecture, Security, and business stakeholders
- Track record of defining and evolving long-term platform strategy, modernization, and scalability initiatives
- Active leadership in architectural reviews, design sessions, and solution governance
- Strong perspective on platform modernization, scalability, and engineering best practices
- Proven leader of high-performing engineering organizations, with experience managing diverse engineering skillsets (Salesforce, API, Data)
- Strong focus on talent development, coaching, and succession planning
- Experience in organizational design, workforce planning, and scaling engineering teams
- Drives a culture of engineering excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement
