Job Description:
As a Director on the firm’s Threat Management team, you will be working in an industry-leading, collaborative, fast–paced environment and will have the opportunity to assist in threat related matters with potential to impact the firm’s associates, customers, and facilities.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- Demonstrated experience working on teams identifying threatening or concerning behavior, working with key partners to gather information to assess risk of unwanted outcomes, and implementing appropriate interventions
- 10 plus years of confirmed experience in threat management in a corporate and/or government environment is required.
- Proven ability to lead comprehensive, end-to-end investigations of threat-related matters, encompassing threat identification, intelligence gathering, interviewing, analysis, risk assessment, coordination with internal and external partners, and implementation of mitigation strategies is required.
- Assisting with the assessment of physical security threats, including threats of violence, self-harm, harassment, domestic violence, stalking and other concerning behaviors that may affect associates, clients, and facilities
- Proven ability to deliver clear, concise, and impactful briefings to audiences of varying sizes, including frontline teams, cross-functional partners, and senior leadership
- Partnering with team members to provide threat assessment recommendations to stakeholders
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with Employee Relations, Employment Law group, and other key business partners
- Exceptional ability to work independently and under pressure to handle critical time sensitive matters and priorities
- Advanced knowledge of the threat management framework, principles, and risk mitigation strategies
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work-related experience is required.
The Team
The Threat Management team is part of the broader Protective Services team, which in turn is part of Fidelity’s Global Security team. The threat management team is a highly valued team dedicated to mitigating risk for the firms’ associates, clients and assets.
Fidelity’s Onsite Working Model
Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles.
