Principal Fullstack Engineer

The Role
Are you eager to spearhead the building of world-class APIs and web applications? We are searching for a highly motivated Principal Full Stack Engineer to join our swiftly growing Data Aggregation team. You'll lead the development of scalable, secure solutions that help fintech partners offer financial planning and investment advice. As a technical leader, you'll define direction across the full stack and support engineers in delivering cohesive, high-impact solutions!
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
You possess a Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering and have 10 plus years of experience crafting, developing, and operating REST-based web services and distributed systems. Your strong backend expertise in Java (Spring Boot) is essential, and experience with Go (Golang) is a strong advantage. You've built modern web applications using TypeScript with React or Angular, and you understand UI architecture, component composition, and performance optimization. Your experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, Terraform, Jenkins, and CI/CD tools is impressive. You have a passion for building intuitive web applications and robust API platforms, and you bring a data-driven, collaborative approach to decision-making.

Fidelity’s Onsite Working Model
Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles.
