The Role

Be a part of the Enterprise Technology (ET) Human Resources PMO team! Our team is responsible for driving and delivering HR and talent strategic initiatives for Fidelity Technology.

We’re looking for a hands-on, solution-oriented Project Manager who thrives in a complex, fast-paced, and highly collaborative environment. This is not your typical project management role, we are looking for someone who is energized by building, improving, and influencing. If you enjoy turning ideas into action and bringing people together to solve complex challenges, you will thrive here.

You’ll partner across Human Resources, Finance, Strategy and Planning, and Technology to deliver impactful, scalable solutions that enable our workforce to drive business outcomes. Success in this role requires strong relationship-building skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to influence in a matrixed organization.

You will lead and support a wide range of project management activities, which requires you to:

  • Drive clarity from ambiguity by defining project scope, goals, and deliverables in partnership with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Own delivery end-to-end—managing timelines, resources, dependencies, and sequencing to ensure successful outcomes
  • Anticipate and mitigate risks by proactively identifying challenges, developing mitigation plans, and driving issues to resolution
  • Roll up your sleeves to solve problems, leveraging a network of subject matter experts and your own critical thinking to move work forward
  • As needed, evaluate change impacts and develop and execute change management plans, including stakeholder analysis, impact assessments, communications, training, readiness activities, and adoption strategies to support successful implementation of business and technology changes.
  • Navigate a matrixed environment by aligning diverse stakeholder groups and building strong, trust-based relationships
  • Communicate with purpose and transparency, tailoring messaging for audiences ranging from working teams to executive leadership
  • Create compelling materials and narratives to support recommendations, provide insights, and drive change adoption
  • Build for scale by establishing repeatable processes, tools, and frameworks that improve consistency and efficiency over time

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

We are looking for someone who can combine strong execution skills with a proactive, ownership-driven mindset

  • Proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities while delivering high-quality results on time
  • Analytical and creative problem solver who can break down complex challenges and design practical solutions
  • Experience designing and optimizing end-to-end processes with a focus on simplicity, scalability, and user experience
  • Strong communication (both verbal and written) and influencing skills, with the ability to engage and align stakeholders at all levels
  • A detail-oriented executor who doesn’t lose sight of the big picture
  • A consultative, customer-focused mindset with a passion for helping teams solve meaningful problems
  • Comfort operating in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with shifting priorities
  • A self-starter mentality—you take initiative, seek out opportunities, and don’t wait for direction to move work forward
  • Driven by curiosity to explore and understand ambiguous and complex business situations through respectful questioning, research, and investigation.
  • A strong bias for action and results, with a clear commitment to driving outcomes and delivering impact
