The Role
Fidelity’s Enterprise Infrastructure Distributed Hosting organization is seeking a Senior Storage Administrator to join the Server and Storage Operations team. This role is responsible for supporting enterprise storage and data protection platforms, resolving complex infrastructure incidents, fulfilling service requests, and maintaining the reliability of critical technology services. The position involves monitoring and supporting backup and recovery operations, managing storage provisioning and migration activities, and collaborating with technology teams across Fidelity to deliver secure, scalable infrastructure solutions. This role has a direct impact on the availability and performance of the systems that support Fidelity’s business operations and client services.
Work Schedule: This is a shift-based role working either Tuesday-Saturday or Sunday-Thursday, or regular business hours five days per week. Occasional schedule adjustments may be required to support business needs and team coverage requirements.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- 5+ years of experience supporting enterprise storage, backup, or infrastructure operations.
- Experience supporting enterprise storage environments, including Storage Area Network (SAN), Network Attached Storage (NAS), and data protection technologies.
- Working knowledge of enterprise storage platforms such as IBM storage systems, Infinidat, NetApp, or similar technologies.
- Contribute to operational KPIs, metrics & observability.
- Drive automation initiatives and promote DevOps/EngOps work.
- Collaborate with global teams and vendors to resolve issues and implement solutions.
- Experience in managing backup and recovery solutions, preferably Commvault or comparable backup software.
- Experience in troubleshooting complex infrastructure incidents, conducting root cause analysis, and supporting problem resolution activities.
- Experience handling storage provisioning, decommissioning, data restoration, migration activities, and disaster recovery support.
- Knowledge of SAN switch administration and storage connectivity concepts.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across global teams.
- Familiarity with VMware/OLVM virtualized environments; experience supporting Windows infrastructure is strongly preferred.
- Linux administration experience is highly preferred.
- Experience with hyperconverged infrastructure or monitoring tools, and cloud technologies is a plus.
- Ability to take initiative, manage competing priorities, and support operational activities in a fast-paced environment.

The Server and Storage Operations team is part of Fidelity’s Enterprise Infrastructure organization, a service-focused group responsible for delivering and supporting foundational technology platforms across the company. Our team manages enterprise storage, backup, and data protection services that support critical applications and business operations across all Fidelity business units. We collaborate closely with infrastructure, engineering, application, and operations teams in the United States and India to provide reliable, secure, and scalable technology services. Fidelity’s Onsite Working Model
Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles.
