The Role
Fidelity Digital Assets has an exciting opportunity to bring on an Institutional Admin Product Manager within the Product Delivery team! This person will play a critical role in delivering secure, scalable solutions that underpin institutional client management. This person will own the Institutional Admin roadmap and backlog, ensuring delivery of outcomes aligned to Product Strategy priorities. You will partner across business, operations, and technology teams to deliver solutions that improve operational efficiency, reduce risk, and enable effective client servicing.
This role requires a dedicated and accountable product manager who will:
Translate Product Strategy direction into clear, prioritized roadmaps and execution plans
Own product outcomes, ensuring delivery drives measurable improvements in operational efficiency and risk reduction
Own and evolve roles, permissions, and entitlement models, ensuring consistency and control across systems
Make informed prioritization and trade-off decisions across scope, risk, and timelines
Drive alignment across operations, technology, risk, and product stakeholders
Communicate progress, risks, dependencies, and trade-offs clearly
Define and track KPIs that measure product performance, adoption, and operational impact
Partner with Engineering and delivery leadership to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions
Ensure solutions deliver value to operational users, improving their ability to onboard and service clients effectively
Drive continuous improvement in both product outcomes and delivery effectiveness
Leverage AI tools and automation to improve efficiency and quality across product management activities, including analysis, documentation, and workflow optimization
The Expertise and Skills You Bring:
Bachelor’s degree required, MBA a plus
Experience working on internal applications or operational systems
Experience working within Scrum or similar iterative delivery frameworks
Experience in financial services, crypto or regulated environments preferred
Entitlements and Access Control
Own the design and evolution of roles, permissions, and entitlement frameworks
Ensure access models are consistent, controlled, and aligned across systems and use cases
Understand and manage downstream impacts of entitlement changes across APIs, reporting, and client experiences
Balance usability, flexibility, and control in access management decisions
Product Execution, Distributed Systems & Architecture
Own product roadmap, prioritization, and backlog management, translating strategy into clear, actionable plans and measurable outcomes.
Lead product development across complex distributed systems, APIs, event-driven workflows, and data pipelines.
Define and manage system interactions, integration points, dependencies, and ownership boundaries.
Understand and manage event flows across Kafka or similar messaging platforms, ensuring reliable data processing and transmission.
Partner closely with engineering and architecture teams to identify risks, resolve system-level issues, and deliver scalable, resilient solutions.
Data/Financial Integrity & Operational Excellence
Own data accuracy, consistency, and financial integrity across processing workflows and distributed systems.
Define and manage data contracts, schemas, and system interfaces, ensuring changes are coordinated and minimize downstream impact.
Understand and support key financial processes, including settlement, bookkeeping, reconciliation, and tax-related workflows.
Partner with engineering and operations to establish observability, monitoring, traceability, and reconciliation capabilities.
Identify and mitigate risks related to data quality, transaction processing, auditability, and system performance while balancing precision, scalability, and reliability.
Strategic Execution, Leadership & AI-Enabled Delivery
Lead cross-functional planning, prioritization, and dependency management, adapting to evolving business needs while maintaining alignment to strategic outcomes.
Make product decisions that balance business value, risk, compliance, quality, and operational reliability.
Partner effectively across engineering, operations, risk, and control teams to drive alignment, accountability, and successful delivery.
Communicate clearly, build strong stakeholder relationships, and operate effectively in complex, high-accountability environments.
Leverage AI and automation tools to improve analysis, decision-making, productivity, and delivery efficiency while applying appropriate governance and responsible-use practices.

Fidelity’s Onsite Working Model
Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles.
Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.
Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
