The Role

As the Senior Manager, Contracts Management, you will represent and protect Fidelity in drafting and negotiating agreements with many of our largest plan sponsor clients. The Senior Manager partners with Sales, Relationship Management, Operations, Finance, Product Management, Compliance, Finance and Corporate Legal to reach the desired business goals of Fidelity, while managing legal/compliance risk for Fidelity.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • Requires a four-year college degree; JD strongly preferred
  • 3 to 4 years compliance/legal experience, preferably involving contracts negotiation and drafting
  • Ability to function as the primary representative in the resolution of complex negotiation issues with clients and their counsel (internal and external) with increasing levels of independence
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and resolve contracting issues and in developing creative solutions that address client concerns and protect Fidelity
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to build relationships across Fidelity
  • Outstanding oral and written communications skills

The Team

You will join the Contracts team within the Workplace Investing organization—a group of professionals responsible for the legal, risk, and business contractual framework for trust and service agreements with our clients. The team partners closely with internal legal and business units throughout the contracting process, striving to build strong client relationships while protecting Fidelity from risk.

Fidelity’s Onsite Working Model
Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles.
