At Fidelity, we pride ourselves on crafting a culture and workplace you’ll love. That means making you feel welcome from the start in a workplace that fosters your best work with benefits that help you bring your A game, not just at work but at home too.
Here’s what you will find at Fidelity:
- Inclusive, supportive culture
- A challenging but fun workplace where you can grow
- Best-in-class benefits and amenities.
- A commitment to innovation
- Accountable and accessible leadership team
You won’t find negative finance stereotypes at Fidelity. Instead, you’ll find a values-driven culture that invests in both individuals and teams for the long run. “I love working at Fidelity and with my team,” said Melissa. “I want to continue working for Fidelity for the remainder of my career.”

An inclusive and supportive work environment is the hallmark of Fidelity’s culture from day one
From the start, we work to make you feel like you’re a part of our bigger team, putting you at ease and helping you connect with your teammates. We’re intentional about making sure new hires feel integrated. “When we have a new hire,” Melissa said, “we try to acclimate them to the team with a peer-to-peer partner who meets with them daily.”
We also encourage existing employees to reach out to new employees. “I didn’t expect people to be so welcoming on the first day, but they asked questions to get to know me,” said Lauren, Software Engineer. “Even though it’s a large company, it has that family feeling and culture,” said Melissa. “It feels very warm.”
That first day at a new job can feel like the first day at a new school, full of excitement and jitters. “The energy of our onboarding leaders really helped calm my nerves,” said Alexis, Customer Relationship Advocate. “They walked to the classroom and had music playing, which was calming. Everybody was really excited to see and welcome us. At other companies, you might just be a number, but here, you’re a name and a face. They want to know more about you.”
“I assumed that since many people have worked here for 15 or 20 years, they wouldn’t be as open to newer individuals coming in, but I got that wrong,” said Melissa. We know the value new employees bring to our culture and our future success.

What employees say about Fidelity’s culture and work environment
“The culture is very inclusive, collaborative, and transparent,” said Alexis. “Everybody’s super-friendly and wants you to succeed.” How does that translate into the day-to-day? Answering a question from a coworker while they are on a customer call, catching someone in the hallway to riff on an ad hoc idea, or sending a quick Teams message.
“You really feel that everyone is driven and wants the best outcome for Fidelity and the project,” said Melissa. “When you’re working with people who are all trying their best, it makes you want to put your best foot forward. You don’t want to let your team down.” At Fidelity, we know challenges and setbacks are inevitable, which is why we are dedicated to each other. We know that when we support each other, it makes even the tallest mountain seem shorter.
“I truly feel my work is valued and that when I bring ideas to the table, my voice is heard, which fosters a safe environment and better idea generation and collaboration,” said Melissa. Feeling heard and valued are core facets of psychological safety in the workplace, which can positively affect team innovation, performance, resilience, and learning.
