The Role

Investment Services is a core enablement team that supports FIWA’s asset allocation, manager research, and portfolio management functions. As FIWA’s product offerings and client adoption continue to grow, the need for scalable, reliable, and technology‑enabled investment operations has become increasingly critical.

As a member of the Investment Services team, you’ll play a key role in supporting day‑to‑day investment operations, managing and processing research and investment datasets, and partnering closely with FIWA’s research and portfolio management teams to help deliver high‑quality investment outcomes. This role offers hands‑on exposure to how investment ideas are translated into portfolios and delivered at scale.

  • Build deep expertise in FIWA’s portfolio management and research production processes, including portfolio construction data, model rebalances, and the distribution of FIWA investment IP

  • Partner closely with key internal and cross‑company stakeholders, developing strong relationships and serving as an advocate for FIWA across the organization

  • Provide leadership to solve complex business needs, drive innovation and develop strategic recommendations to reduce risk and enable scalable growth

  • Collaborate with technology partners and FIWA leaders to help define infrastructure vision, roadmap and prioritization needs across the organization

  • Execute and enhance processes and controls supporting portfolio management and research activities

  • Proactively identify and mitigate operational and data‑related risks through automation, code development, and analytical review

  • Manage and structure datasets and associated reporting to support internal teams and external stakeholder requests

  • Perform ongoing data quality checks and collaborate with FIWA partners to investigate and resolve issues or discrepancies

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • 10+ years of relevant professional experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, mathematics, accounting, engineering, computer science, or a related field; a Master’s degree or CFA designation is a plus, but not required

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and advanced SQL, with the ability to navigate and integrate across diverse data schemas and content sets

  • Experience programming in Python or R, including the development of customized quantitative tools and analyses

  • Familiarity with platforms such as Morningstar, FactSet, and/or eVestment is a plus

  • Knowledge of security reference data across asset classes, including performance measurement, risk modeling, and performance attribution

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze large and complex data sets, identify patterns or anomalies, and build scalable reporting or analytical solutions

  • Strong project management skills with experience leading complex projects to completion

  • Comfort partnering with investors and stakeholders, with a solid understanding of a range of investment processes

  • Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and help design automated, production‑ready workflows

  • Strong judgment, problem‑solving skills, and experience managing issues through resolution

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to understand complex systems and evolving business requirements

  • Proactive approach to learning, skill development, and continuous improvement

  • 7,63 required or willing to obtain within 6 months

  • Collaborative team orientation, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high‑quality outcomes

  • Partner across FIWA, WAMS, FI, and FFIO to ensure business needs are met while effectively managing and minimizing risk

  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to uphold the quality, consistency, and integrity of FIWA’s investment outputs

  • Help foster a culture that values proactivity, accountability, collaboration, and high performance

  • Take a growth‑oriented approach to continuously build your skills and deepen your platform and product knowledge

As a member of the Investment Services team, you’ll play a key role in supporting day‑to‑day investment operations, managing and processing research and investment datasets, and partnering closely with FIWA’s research and portfolio management teams to help deliver high‑quality investment outcomes. This role offers hands‑on exposure to how investment ideas are translated into portfolios and delivered at scale.

The base salary range for this position is $103,000-211,000 USD per year.

Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.

Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
