The Role
Lead a highly collaborative, cross-functional team committed to improving the value of our services within Broker-Dealer Operations. As Vice President of Margin, you will blend deep brokerage expertise with strong leadership skills to develop and guide the team and set the strategic direction of the group. The Vice President directs multiple functions, including reviewing KPIs, identifying & developing automation to improve service, reduce cost and achieve greater scale. This role drives the implementation of organizational goals aligned with Fidelity's overall objectives.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
Deep regulatory knowledge. Expert familiarity with Federal Reserve Board Regulation-T, FINRA Rule 4210 and SEC Rule 15c3-3.
Prioritization of technology enhancements.
College degree or applicable work experience Education
Resolve more complex escalations and/or event processing anomalies for solutions that protect customers and the firm from financial and regulatory risk
Adjust team/departmental priorities and resource allocations to support changing needs.
Identify policy & procedure gaps and establish improved standards, policies, and controls
Accountable for key talent management processes including hiring, on boarding, goal setting, performance evaluations and other career development activities for a team.

The Team
This dynamic team is a part of Fidelity’s broker-dealer Operations & Services Group within Fund & Brokerage Operations & Technology. The Margin Department has high energy and is a fast-paced, team environment. Managers and associates are located in Jersey City, NJ and Westlake, TX.
The base salary range for this position is $118,000-226,000 USD per year.Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.
Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
