The Role

The Director of US Administration will co-lead and inspire a high-performing administration organization comprised of Administrative Team Leads and Senior Executive Assistants within Fidelity’s Asset Management (AM) division. This position will provide strategic direction for administrative operations that enable business performance, seamless leadership support, and operational continuity. The Director will drive strong partnership and connectivity across AM and enterprise stakeholders, steward proactive talent development and succession planning, and champion the adoption of digital tools and modern ways of working to enhance efficiency, scalability, and operational excellence.

In this role, you will:

  • Creatively support the evolving needs of the business and our associates to amplify our impact and engagement across Asset Management.

  • Foster a partnership with the Administrative Team Leads to develop and maintain working relationships across the business, deepen talent practices, facilitate knowledge sharing, collaboration and operational efficiencies.

  • Identify talent development opportunities to advance our team’s expertise.

  • Lead with a digital first mindset and actively pursue the review and integration of various digital tools to modernize the administrative function.

The Expertise and skills you bring:

  • Minimum of 5 years of management experience.

  • Experience in designing and implementing the strategic direction for a team.

  • Strong desire to build relationships, influence and gain consensus across multiple levels of an organization.

  • Strong Microsoft Office expertise, analytical expertise a plus.

  • Superb communication, organizational and project management skills.

  • Ability to proactively support, coach and resolve day-to-day challenges with a strategic mindset and associated complexities when operating in a matrixed organization.

The Asset Management Compliance, Risk and Business Operations (CRBO) team is a global organization that focuses on advancing the strategic priorities of Fidelity and Asset Management through innovation, business partner alignment and building and supporting a culture that challenges the status quo and promotes vitality. We empower Asset Management to turn strategy into reality. The team's key organizational themes are to protect, enable and accelerate.

The base salary range for this position is $103,000-211,000 USD per year.

Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.

Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
