The Role

Are you interested in leading financial analysis and support for three dynamic, constantly evolving investment management divisions? Asset Management Finance is seeking a Vice President to lead finance line support of the High Income and Alternatives, Multi-Asset Solutions and Fidelity Digital Assets divisions. This role will report into the Head of AM Line and Board Finance, leading a team providing finance support to the investment divisions, including multi-year plan, operating plan, budget and forecasts.

In this role you will need to partner directly with the Investment Division Senior Leadership, providing insightful analysis on new investment products, scaling core businesses and industry opportunities. You will be responsible for all aspects of the scorecard development, KPIs, business case development and investment requests including technology spend, new revenue streams, headcount, and expenses changes. You will lead a team of four which will be called upon for advanced levels of financial modeling at times. In addition, you will also focus on coordinating and communicating monthly results and analyses, including assets, flows, market share, expense and headcount. As part of the AM Finance team, you will collaborate with a variety of partners, including senior management, central finance, and the strategy team to drive finance initiatives and deliverables across AM.

The Expertise and Skills you Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or Economics combined with a minimum of 12+ years’ work experience in a finance capacity

  • Experience in financial services industry is highly desired

  • Strategic problem solver who can take an end-to-end view of an issue and develop multiple solutions

  • Advanced experience with various software applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, Tableau, Anaplan and Think-Cell) and proven ability for building complex financial models

  • Confidence, business maturity, and presence to work independently and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization

  • Outstanding critical thinking, problem solving, and decision-making skills

  • Proven leadership skills and the ability to develop talent

The Team

The Asset Management Finance and Fund Oversight team, partners across Asset Management to drive our long-term strategy and uphold fiduciary standards for fidelity and our customers. We do this by providing finance expertise and insights, leading strategic initiatives, providing independent oversight of investment offerings, supporting Fund Boards, and more.

The base salary range for this position is $130,000-$264,000 per year.

Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.

Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
