The Role

Are you ready to develop outstanding culinary experiences? Fidelity Investments seeks a dedicated Cold Cook / Garde Manger to join our ambitious team in Boston, MA. You will be at the forefront of our Specialty Dining Program, preparing flawless cold dishes, including salads, charcuterie, and appetizers. Your precision and speed will ensure that each meal period is delivered with the highest fine-dining standards, directly impacting the quality and perception of our dining experiences!

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • GED required; culinary arts or equivalent professional training preferred.
  • Proven cold line experience in fine dining, hotel, or upscale high-capacity settings.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in cold plating, emulsified sauces, and vinaigrette preparation.
  • Servsafe Certification preferred or willingness to acquire within 30 days of hire.
  • Strong knowledge of cold food production processes.
  • Outstanding knife skills and familiarity with classic cuts.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment and adapt to a fast-paced hospitality setting.
  • High level of discretion and sensitivity when handling confidential guest information.

Fidelity’s Onsite Working Model
Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles.

The base salary range for this position is $44,000-80,000 USD per year.

Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.

Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
