The Role:
Provide advanced and diverse administrative support within the Brokerage Client Services organization. This support will include:
- Provide all aspects of support (e.g., proactive calendar management, meeting coordination, trouble shooting of conflicts and potential obstacles, domestic and international travel planning and expense reporting) for multiple executives and investment professionals
- Manage daily workflow of expected and unexpected requests and commitments to ensure accuracy, efficiency and timeliness
- Communicate on behalf of all levels of leadership both internally and externally
- Develop and maintain working relationships across business units to facilitate efficiency and problem solving
- Engage with team members to advance best practices and cross-train on new and existing tools
- Purchase supplies for the business, events, and associates
- Prepare and plan for events, both onsite and offsite- including site wide event planning, quarterly team offsites and meeting coordination
- Driving culture and community by coordinating group-related activities and events
The Expertise and Skills You Bring:
This position requires an experienced administrative assistant who demonstrates professionalism, maturity, enthusiasm, initiative and a high level of energy.
- 3 plus years of executive administrative experience preferred.
- Strong organizational, time-management, prioritization and project management skills. Ability to successfully build relationships and interact positively and effectively across multiple levels. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
- Collaboration, creativity, flexibility, and teamwork in scheduling meetings
- Experience in managing sensitive and confidential information
- Initiative and follow through to identify and resolve potential obstacles or conflicts and provide immediate resolution and/or alternatives
- Strong Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel and MS Teams skills
- The ability to lift and move 50lbs
- A flexible teammate, willing to get involved and assist the work of the larger team across a variety of other duties, including backing-up peers
- A bachelor’s degree preferred or related work experience
Fidelity’s Onsite Working Model
Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles.
Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.
Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
