The Role
Come join a dynamic team focused on leading and delivering strategic programs in Fidelity’s Workforce Strategy and Analytics organization! The Senior Manager, Workforce Strategic Analysis will help deliver discrete analyses and research, partner to break down and synthesize problems, and contribute to broader discussions focused on executive and business level workforce strategy decisions. As a member of the Workforce Strategy and Analytics team, you will help define criteria needed for decision making, deliver the required analysis and insights, and help shape executive presentations. These may range from small to large-scale and include complex efforts and can be cross-enterprise or specific to certain business areas.
This role will work closely with several key stakeholders and enterprise partners, as well as executive and business unit leadership. You will manage a portfolio of highly complex deliverables that require flexibility given the iterative nature of workforce strategy decisions. This role is responsible for maintaining a clear understanding of the HR and workforce strategy and execution of multiple deliverables, each of diverse size, scope, complexity, and audiences in a highly matrixed organization.
- You will work closely with leaders and business partners to deliver analysis and insights to support strategic workforce strategy decisions
- You will develop dashboards, reports, and presentations for executive stakeholders and use analysis and insights to shape recommendations
- You will perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions
- You will lead multiple deliverables of varying size and complexity
- You will work with leaders across the enterprise and business units to define and facilitate scope of work and prioritization
- You will manage dependencies, risks, and impediments, escalating when needed
- You will collaborate across multiple levels, functions and business units
- You will create and deliver executive level communication through a variety of vehicles, communicating complex ideas and providing recommendations when needed
- You will develop and improve analytic tools/models/dashboards through automation, contributing to the evolution of our team’s analytic and business intelligence capabilities
Expertise and Skills you Bring
- Bachelor’s degree and 5-8 years related experience
- Significant management consulting, strategy, or similar experience with at least one year in a project manager role
- You have strong research and analytical skills, including the ability to synthesize findings and develop practical, concrete recommendations
- Strong analytical, problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to organizational changes
- Experience in financial modeling, analysis and business case development
- Strong executive presence and verbal, written communication and presentation skills
- Ability to balance multiple efforts independently and comfortable with complexity and ambiguity
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to rapid changes in information, process, direction, or immediate workflow
- Proven track record of establishing and building strong relationships, collaborating to build consensus across the organization (enterprise, business units, functions)
- Adaptable to changing needs and shifting priorities
- Ability to develop and influence relationships across all management levels
The Team
This dynamic team is part of the Enterprise HR function within Corporate Services and is responsible for developing and delivering Fidelity’s Workforce Strategy and related practices and governance models. The team partners with a wide range of stakeholders spanning executive leadership and business and technology leaders across the firm.
Fidelity’s Onsite Working Model
Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles.
Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.
Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
