The Role

The University Talent team is seeking a Talent Acquisition Partner to join us in the Referrals space. This position is a blend of recruiting and program work. In the role, you will be a creative problem solver, subject matter expert and standout colleague who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You bring a combination of emphasis on an exceptional, high-touch candidate experience and project management experience, as well as a proven ability to build and foster relationships with business leaders and decision makers across Fidelity.


The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, or equivalent experience considered
  • Ability to travel 25% of the time
  • End-to-end recruiting expertise: Proven experience across the full recruiting lifecycle, including sourcing, screening and assessment, with the ability to build strong candidate pipelines and cultivate networks across a range of roles and levels.
  • Executive communication and stakeholder engagement: Confident verbal and written communicator with the ability to engage and advise at all levels.
  • Project management skills and presentation skills ability to understand and translate business needs into effective talent strategies and guidance.
  • Attention to detail with pace: Highly meticulous, with the ability to maintain accuracy and high standards while operating effectively in a dynamic, high-touch environment.
  • Prioritization and agility: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, make sound decisions quickly, and deliver results in a fast-paced setting.
  • Focus on data: Familiarity with using data to tell a story
  • Business acumen and consultative mentality: Solid understanding of business needs, with the ability to translate those needs into effective talent strategies and guidance.
  • Recruiting tools and pipeline management: Skilled in using recruiting systems and tools (e.g., Workday ATS, tracking/prioritization tools) to partner with recruiting teams to engage and maintain referral pipelines.
  • Following defined and reportable process for executive referrals across early career and experienced talent profiles.
  • Fostering relationships with managers/BU’s/HR to build understanding of hiring needs and future opportunities.
  • Maintaining high-touch relationships with candidate interactions, including active and passive referrals to create long lasting partnerships.
  • Managing the full lifecycle experience across a variety of open roles, supporting managers/recruiters/HR and leaders to hire and retain quality candidates from referrals.
  • Implementing keep warm/communication strategies and trackable data driven reporting for both referrals and referees
  • Applying knowledge of recruiting sources and executing innovative strategies to align referred talent to open and opportunistic roles across the organization.
  • Delivering a professional and efficient referral candidate experience, including providing consistent and streamlined communication to referees and referrals.
  • Delivering high touch service for referred talent including career coaching, resume feedback, interview preparation and educating on Fidelity’s business and culture.
  • Occasional travel to Fidelity regional offices and Universities to host campus events
  • Working alongside the University Talent team to support seasonal needs such as FIDTERN events, EarlyID, Fidhacks, etc.

Fidelity’s Onsite Working Model
Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles.

The base salary range for this position is $74,000-141,000 USD per year.

Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.

Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
