The Role

The Sr. Manager, Learning Platforms & Technology is responsible for shaping and optimizing Fidelity's enterprise learning technology ecosystem to deliver business value, improve associate experiences, and maximize platform investments.

This role serves as the strategic connector between Enterprise Learning, HR Platforms, Technology, vendors, and business unit learning teams. In this position, you will drive learning technology strategy, platform governance, ecosystem design, adoption, and operational effectiveness across Fidelity's learning landscape.

You will evaluate and optimize learning technology capabilities, identify opportunities for platform consolidation and cost savings, create scalable operating models and processes, and ensure learning teams across the enterprise are enabled to effectively leverage learning technologies.

Success in this role requires strong systems thinking, stakeholder management, consultative partnership, process design expertise, and the ability to translate business needs into scalable technology solutions.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

As the Sr. Manager, Learning Platforms & Technology, you will enable the rollout and implementation of new learning technology. You will also drive ongoing enablement of learning platforms, including LMS, LXP, knowledge management, content authoring tools, and other tools across Fidelity’s learning ecosystem. Prior experience managing learning systems will be essential to drive adoption, establish governance, define and improve operational processes, and enable associates to effectively leverage learning technologies to support growth and performance.

You will be serving as our primary learning technology advisor to BU learning teams, so strong platform enablement, stakeholder management, and business consulting skills will be necessary to build strong partnerships across Learning, HR platforms, CST, procurement, and BU partners.

Additionally, you will define and maintain the learning technology roadmap, assessing platform capabilities, utilization, and business value across the learning ecosystem. You will identify opportunities for platform consolidation/simplification, evaluate emerging learning technologies, and partner with Learning Leaders across the organization to align technology investments with business priorities.

The ideal candidate profile for this role includes…

  • 8+ years of experience preferred in Learning Technology, HR Technology, Learning Platforms, HR Platforms, Product Management, Digital Adoption, Technology Enablement, or related disciplines.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and executing learning technology, platform, or product strategies that improve user experience, business outcomes, and operational efficiency.
  • Deep understanding of enterprise platform ecosystems, including platform governance, lifecycle management, adoption, and optimization.
  • Proven ability to partner with senior leaders, business stakeholders, HR, Technology, and vendors to influence decisions and align priorities.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build trust, navigate complex organizations, and drive outcomes through collaboration and influence.
  • Experience leading cross-functional programs and projects, including roadmap development, implementation planning, prioritization, risk management, and change adoption.
  • Skilled in evaluating business needs, translating requirements into scalable technology solutions, and balancing strategic objectives with operational realities.
  • Strong process design, systems thinking, and documentation capabilities, including process mapping, technical writing, workflow optimization, governance development, and operating model design.
  • Experience identifying opportunities for platform consolidation, simplification, and cost optimization while maintaining strong user experience.
  • Comfortable leveraging data, analytics, and insights to assess platform performance, measure adoption, and inform strategic decisions.
  • Technology fluent with experience using AI-enabled tools, low-code/no-code solutions, workflow automation platforms, dashboards, and reporting tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Able to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable recommendations for business and executive audiences.
  • Curious about emerging technologies and industry trends, with a continuous improvement mindset and passion for enabling organizational capability through technology.

The Team

Enterprise Learning partners with business leaders, HR, and learning professionals to develop talent and drive business outcomes across Fidelity Investments.

The Learning Operations team serves as the engine behind Enterprise Learning, enabling successful implementation, administration, reporting, learner experience support, governance, and process improvement. Together, we create capabilities that allow learning programs to be delivered consistently, efficiently, and optimally at scale while providing exceptional experiences for Fidelity associates.

Fidelity’s Onsite Working Model
Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles.

The base salary range for this position is $79,000-153,000 USD per year.

Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.

Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
